Ongoing counselling supervision for trainees and practitioners is an
essential ingredient of effective psychotherapy, both in terms of maintaining
an ethical practice and safeguarding clients and practitioners.
I provide supervision in accordance with the BACP ethical framework for good
practice in counselling & psychotherapy which you can read about by

Primordial to the way that I work is to offer a safe, supportive, challenging
and creative space to explore client work. Key areas of focus include:
- Assessment and evaluation
- Direction of the work
- Critical awareness of and reflection upon the therapeutic process
- Maintenance of therapeutic boundaries and ethical thinking
- How the client constructs meaning via language
- How to work with relational dynamics: transference, countertransference
and projective identification
I work with supervisees of all different modalities including analytic
and existential.
